Get Your Grill On

Oh, snap! If only I lived remotely near these Moo & Oink locations, then I could bust into a spontaneous dance-off against a cow and pig. The cow has pretty sweet moves but I can easily beat that tired pig. Either way, I'd take comfort in eating their relatives.

A more contemporary commercial for the favorite Chicago meat market chain tries to give the Moo & Oink mascots more street cred. I prefer the classic, less threatening cow and pig.

You my main meat.

Vincent Falk is about to take the fashion world by storm. He's already graced Chicago by appearing outside the NBC 5 and ABC 7 studios. My question is why aren't these stations giving Vincent an entire hour of coverage everyday. This guy knows how to work the camera with his unique style and sexy moves.

It's a shame that I never had the pleasure to encounter Vincent while I worked in the Loop. Perhaps I did but he just blended in too well with all the other Pepto-Bismal colored suits.

Move Over Britney Spears

Not since the 1995 heat wave that killed 600 has something so hot come out of Chicago. The song is addictive, the story engaging, and cinematography groundbreaking. Those skyline shots are breathtaking and I love the on location filming in the Pilsen neighborhood. Homegirl keeps it real.
